- jchavaeFeb 02, 2018Art TherapySo I have been coloring every night before bed while listening to an inspirational audio book...when I tell you it is one of the best forms of meditation!!! It is a magnificent way to calm your brain down without being on any kind of technology. I havent taken a proper picture of one of the completed pictures yet, but I will. I will also share the illustrator (who is AMAZING)! Has anyone else used art as (self) therapy?Like
- jchavaeMar 22, 2018BooksBreaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One is literally one of the best books I have ever read regarding mental health, self-help, or psychology. Dr. Joe Dispenza has an amazing vantage point on the working of the brain. He breaks it down in a scientific AND metapysical level, so no matter your viewpoint you can digest the information he provides. I wrote a review about it on my website https://jchavae.com/2017/01/08/book-review-breaking-the-habit-of-being-yourself/ I still HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone dealing with any mental health disorder or any personality trait that you want to release (like anger or bitterness)Like
